Spera Assignment 6: Playmaker

Spera Assignment 6: Playmaker

This was a little bit foreign to me at the beginning, but once I got the hang of it, I started understanding the logic a lot more. I'm sure once I use it more, Playmaker will be a really cool tool to add a ton of interactivity into a scene on Unity, but for right now I did the basics and I'm running with it because I don't want to mess anything up now.

I found the tip sheets really helpful on this one just to make sure that I was doing everything exactly as I was suppose to. It was really helpful when looking at the Playmaker logic and adding in the animations and the sounds. It all makes a lot of sense once it is done, it just takes some time to actually make it happen.

I incorporated the (in)famous treasure box with some creaking sounds as it opens and closes. You can initiate the treasure box top to open when you go near the box itself or the awesome cube that is also in the scene. The cube also triggers the movement of the box top as well as the sounds. In my screencast I forgot to click the game object so for the first round, the Playmaker does not show up, but I did it again in the second half of the video and you can see all of the logic at the bottom of the screen.
