Working with Mixamo was very fun! Overall I spent way too much time browsing through the different animations it had to offer. The fun then ended (not entirely though) when trying to use Mixamo characters within playmaker.

My goal for the assignment was to make just a simple triggered scene. The idea was to have my first Mixamo character approach the other and then headbutt the other. After being headbutted, the second Mixamo character would then fall flat. After a lot of tinkering and frustration, I got it to work (sort of...).

The main issue was working with the transitions within Playmaker. The only way I was able to get it my scene to somewhat work was to have a weird transition timeline. The way my scene ended up working was that you would enter the the trigger for the first character and he would then glide (I was unable to get the walking animation to work on him) to the second character and perform the headbutt animation. I then had to step out of the trigger for the second character's animation to work. While it ended up being a rough cut of what I had pictured, it still somewhat worked.

The introduction of Mixamo characters and the ease of getting them will be beneficial for my final project. My final project will be a "Museum" for a brief history of the Liverpool FC football club. At first I was worried that maybe my project would seem a little lifeless while inside, but now I can easily add mixamo characters to act as NPC's in my museum!
