Unity Assignment: Times Square
I’ve worked with Unity before, but this is my first try in creating an interactive simulation. The setting takes place in Times Square, New York. My overall idea is to produce a narration of One Times Square’s history and how the building has changed over time.
In the first scene, I highlight the building with a set of moving particles, connected by lines to imply its everchanging geometries. The particle system is also a collider that takes the player to the next scene upon approaching the building.
In the second scene, which will be my next steps, I plan to recreate the evolution of One Times Square through its architectural renovations over the years.
