Joel Sherman Final Project

Joel Sherman Final Project

I found this to be a very negative experience. My original plan was to create a character study of a supervillain. I would go from a normal-looking house to an evil lair accessed by the fireplace. I would do this by using Playmaker to teleport between each scene. Within each scene would be details and objects giving information on the character.

I ran into a couple of problems. First, I realized that it would be too difficult to use objects to tell this person’s story; I would have to use voice-over. I then ended up not having enough time to find someone to record voice-over.

Then I had to deal with my main problem: Playmaker. I couldn’t figure out how to use the software to teleport between scenes, or even automatically move the character around. The result was that I had to cut everything out except the lair and have everything be in a line. It was a shadow of what I had originally intended.
