5:30-6:15: Virtual Reality Summit

6:45-7:00: Various Stuff and Submitting Your Final Project

  • If you're interested in working with Ben Kreimer for your final project (as an apprentice), send Dan an email stating what you would like to do with his 3D models and what the storytelling angle is. He'll connect you and will choose who he wants to work with.
  • Oculus and HTC Vive shipped (sort of, both are experiencing delays).
  • What else did you find?
  • HoloLens is shipping to us now! It should integrate with Unity using a special HoloLens build of Unity for anyone who wants to try it out.
  • Look for post on final project requirements.
  • Next week: After presentations, plan on spending a few minutes with me one on one to provide an update on where you are with your final project.

  • Work on final projects.
  • I will briefly check in with each of you one on one for about 5 minutes to get an update on your final projects, changes you have had to make, problems you have run into, and also address any questions you have.
