The Scene: The video will take place in a small room that is staged to look like a museum with lots of objects to look at and explore like paintings, books, maps, photographs, display cases, etc.

Lighting: The video will have bright, indoor lighting.

Audio: There will be ambient audio from people walking around the room and talking about what they’re seeing. I would also incorporate some background music, probably something simple and chill.

Experience: The experience I want someone to have through this video is the opportunity to explore unique and interesting artifacts that could be found at a museum. The beauty of staging the museum for the purposes of this video is that each object on display could be an opportunity for another video and further exploration. For example, if there was a photograph on the wall, there would be an option for the viewer to actually step into that photograph and look around. It would be a more interactive museum experience. This could also include books on display that could then go to a 360 video of a scene from the book. It would be an chance to experience new objects in an educational setting without having to travel to a museum.

Story Discovery: There would be a group of people in the museum exploring the room as well so the viewer could choose who to follow around or even go exploring on their own. The story moves forward as people experience the different artifacts in the room. It will open them up to new experiences.

Where is my head? The camera would be a head level like the person was walking around in the room. The 360 rig would be placed in the center of the room.

Safety: Instead of trying to hide, I could actually participate in the video and be part of the group so that I could keep an eye on the equipment. Since this would be a controlled setting, there wouldn’t be an issue with someone stealing the equipment.
