Unity Monster Project

It was quite fun building a space and actually its been some time since I looked at free assets in the asset store they are definitely improving the quality of assets. I've realized how much of a pain in the butt lighting and wind effects are. When it is all said and done both elements make a huge difference on the immersion effect. Assignment 4

Well there was many learning outcomes from this project. I think our team gained a lot from the learn through iteration approach. Take 1: We recorded the Dance team at Manley Field House. We found out that one of the cameras was corrupt and ended up not using the shoot because our preparation wasn't to par on the rig. 360 Dance Team

As a team we decided since there was not a football game to go ahead and 360 capture the SU dance team. We can see a dance routine in unison and instead of seeing them from the stands to be immersed into the routine by having the team form up completely around the camera to see just how immersed the viewer would be. My first VR Experience

Quite the experience and I can see the many applications VR has. I think that making there is an interesting offset of the somewhat stationary limitations of VR. On one hand it confines you but the positive side of that is it lets you get fully immersed into the experience. One thing I think will be interesting to tackle is how we cue to follow the storyline through framing without letting their mind run wild in the program and missing content/experience.
