Mixamo – Groh

Mixamo – Groh

Using Unity continues to get easier. However, I still ran into some problems with my project. I think it was the animation that I chose that caused the problem. I couldn't get a smooth roll for my character. After each roll, he would jump back a few steps. It was as if he was moving two steps forward but one step back each time. I tried various ways to fix this. I attempted to change the frame rate, model settings, and animation settings. There weren't any forums that could help me either. Also, I wasn't able to make my character repeat his grunt upon each roll. I could only get him to grunt on the first roll when the trigger was initiated. Finally, I could immediately trigger my character to roll from point A to be point B and back to point A, but I wasn't able to immediately trigger my character back to point B. It was as if I had to wait a certain amount of time before my character could go back. You will see it in the logic and the video. I try entering and exiting my collider but my character won't respond. I tried fixing this as well but came up empty handed.
